Holmium／Ho 　

Holmium is a silver-white metal, is softer and extensible. Holmium is stable in dry air, but oxidized very soon in high temperature. Holmium oxide is the most paramagnetic substance already known. Compounds of holmium can be used as additive for material of new type ferro magnet; holmium iodide is used for the manufacture of metal halide light－holmium light.
